Game data on your device

Your chosen share-card name, settings, scores, achievements, daily attempts, recent results, and consumable continue balance are stored on your device. The game does not require an account and does not upload your game history to a game server. Your device backup settings may include this locally stored data. Removing the app can remove local progress and unused continues.

Advertising

DOOMSCROLL uses Google AdMob to show ads between eligible completed runs. The app requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing: Google's advertising SDK may process your IP address and approximate location, device or app-scoped identifiers, ad views and interactions, product interactions, crash information, and performance diagnostics for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation.

Google's User Messaging Platform manages applicable consent and privacy choices. Where required, you can revisit those choices through Settings → Manage ad privacy choices. The game remains playable if ads or consent services are unavailable. The app does not request Apple's tracking permission or intentionally supply an advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.

The optional Remove Ads purchase disables the game's between-run ad placements. Fictional posts classified as AD remain game content. Removing ads does not delete information already processed by Google.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details. The app checks Apple's verified purchase records to unlock content and stores transaction identifiers locally to prevent duplicate delivery of purchased continues. Permanent purchases can be restored through the Black Market. Consumable continues are stored on the device and used continues cannot be restored.

Sharing and support

Sharing a result opens Apple's share sheet. Only the result card, the name you chose for it, and accompanying share text are passed to the destination you select. That destination's privacy policy applies.

If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you include. We use this information to respond to your request and retain it only as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations. Please do not send passwords or payment-card information.

Your choices

You can change your share-card name and game settings in the app, manage available ad privacy choices, or contact stevelang87@gmail.com with privacy requests. We cannot remotely retrieve device-local game history. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information depending on your location. Contact Google or Apple for data they control independently.

Children

DOOMSCROLL is intended for a general teen and adult audience, not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support, contact us so we can address it.

This website

This support website has no advertising or analytics added by us. Its hosting providers may process IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site.

We may update this policy as features or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
